FAQ’s or Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What size are the sheds?We have various sizes from 1.5m x 1.5m through to 9m X 3m and many sizes in between.
  2. What size do I need?This depends on what you are storing and how it is packed. We can discuss your needs when you contact us, however do advise our clients to add about 15% more space to your immediate needs as our experience would show that clients tend to add to their storage over time. Use our storage calculator to help you decide what size your own shed should be.
  3. What if I don’t need it for the time I specified?There is no specific lease time so if you want to increase or shorten your lease you only need to give us 14 days written notice.
  4. What if I need it longer?Once you lease a shed it is yours as long as you meet payment terms.
  5. How much does it cost?Storage Unit price depends on size. Just call our office and we will discuss your needs and prices at that time.
  6. Do we provide padlocks?We do sell padlocks but we recommend that you provide your own and keep the key secure.
  7. Can I access my shed any time day or night?Yes we have 24 hour access but our office is manned 7 am to 7pm and we have back to base phone at the exit gate in case of emergency
  8. Where can I get packing boxes and tape?We sell 3 sizes small medium and large

SAQ’s or Should Ask Questions

    Sometimes because of lack of experience in hiring a Storage Shed, we can get caught up with a problem or issue we didn’t predict. Let us try to pre-empt and answer some of those (but with the disclaimer that this list is far from complete – there’ll always be questions we haven’t heard of, but we’ll do our best to update as new queries arise).

  1. Are the contents insured?NO. Whilst we do everything we can, there are no guarantees. For this reason if you want your goods insured you can choose to get your own insurance through a company of your choice. Check with your insurance company to see if your goods can be covered by your “Home Contents Insurance”
  2. Can anyone access my shed?You are the controller of your key so keep it in a safe place. The sheds are individually alarmed and a PIN is needed to get into the gate and to disarm your shed. Likewise when you leave you enter your PIN and that reactivates your individual security.
  3. What happens if I don’t pay my rent?Your rental is paid in advance and if you are unable to pay we will place our lock on your door until the rent is paid. If after a further period of 1 month the rent is not paid we have the right to sell or dispose of your goods.
  4. How good is the security?We ensure our security is best available for storage sheds. We have security on the gate, your individual shed is alarmed back to base and a security company patrols regularly.
